- Staff service hours: Mon-Fri 09:00 – 18:00 (excluding lunch time 12:00 – 13:00)
- Holiday closing information: During the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays, the library will be closed from 00:00 on the first day of the holiday to 08:00 on the day after the third day of the holiday.
- Emergency stairs usage information: Emergency stairs are locked after 22:00, so please use the elevator or the central circular stairs to move between floors.
- Closing in case of emergency: In case of emergency such as power outage, the library may be closed if library services (entrance, loan, return) are not available.
Access to Library
- ID card tag is required when entering the library’s members-only space.
- Members-only space: 3rd to 5th floors, the entire building during exam period
- After tagging your ID card, please check that the door opens and enter one by one.
(Multiple entries with one tag may cause an accident.) - . Currently, you cannot pass through the library entrance gate with the POSTECH ID app tag. (QR code is possible.)
- Seats and facilities in the library can be used after reservation through the library seat reservation system.
- When using the library, please comply with the rules of use.
Borrowing Books
- Loan limit: 10 books for 30 days
- How to borrow: Use your ID card and POSTECH ID QR code to borrow through the self-service loan/return machine and the loan desk on the 2nd floor.
- Renewal:Can be extended up to 300 days (30 days at a time) only if there are no other reservations
- My Library > Purchase Request History
- Reservation: If the book you want to borrow is checked out in the search results, you can make a reservation by logging in and clicking [Reserve].
- After making a reservation, you will be notified by email when the previous borrower returns the book, and you can then borrow it first.
- Overdue books: If a book is overdue, the loan will be suspended for the number of books x overdue days, and reservations will also be impossible.
