Please review the following guidelines to help maintain a safe and pleasant environment at POSTECH Library.
Library Seat Booking System
- Seats and facilities such as study areas and group study rooms must be reserved in advance via the online reservation system.
- Please refer to the system guide for details, including usage hours and minimum number of users per room.
Food and Beverage Policy
- Eating is prohibited in all reading rooms and group study rooms. Only beverages are allowed.
- Drinks must be in containers with secure, completely sealed lids, such as tumblers or water bottles.
- Light snacks may only be consumed in the 5th-floor Relax Zone.
- Outside food (including delivered meals) is prohibited in the library.

Laptop Use
- Laptops may be used in most study areas, including group study rooms.
- You can connect to power and network cables via system boxes located on or beneath tables.
- Laptop use is prohibited in the 4F POCUS Zone (Silent Study Area).
Use of Shared Equipment
- Please treat all shared equipment (wireless mice, keyboards, headsets, etc.) with care.
- Return items after use, and report any issues to the information desk.
Studio & Editing Room Use
- Studio A: Soundproof room for personal filming (bring your equipment). Reservation required.
- Studio B: Equipped with professional filming gear.
* Reservation and training (if necessary) required. - Editing Room: Equipped with 3 PCs with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.).
- Please check the reservation guide before using these facilities.
No Smoking Policy
- The library is a smoke-free facility.
- Please use the designated smoking area outside, near the north parking lot.
Media Room
- The Media Room provides a private space to enjoy various contents via the Wavve streaming service.
- Please use the provided headset to avoid noise outside the room.
Public Facility Etiquette
- No unattended personal belongings: Items left for over 3 days may be collected as lost items.
- Quiet environment: Maintain silence in study areas. For discussions, use the 5F or group study rooms.
- Phone use: Set to silent mode. Make calls in outdoor areas only.
PC Zone
- The PC Zone offers 8 shared all-in-one computers (6 PCs, 2 iMacs).
*During the semester: Reservation required.
*During vacations: Walk-in use available. - Please be cautious when handling personal files and data.
