Document Delivery Service Guide
POSTECH Library provides a Document Delivery Service to help users obtain full-text copies of journal articles, book chapters, and other research materials that are not available within the library’s own collections. This service includes access to both domestic and international resources.
How to Use
Login
Log in to the POSTECH Library Homepage
Submit a Request
Search for the article > Check the search result > Click Document Delivery Request > Fill in additional remarks (if needed) > Submit
Library Processing
The library will forward your request to a holding library, especially for manually submitted requests or items unavailable from primary providers.
Receive the Document
Once the document arrives, you will receive an email notification. You can then collect the document via email or pick it up at the library, depending on the format.
Major Delivery Services
- Rapid ILL (Free International Journal Delivery)
- global network service that provides scanned copies of academic journal articles, typically delivered within 24 hours.
- KERIS RISS (Korea Education and Research Information Service)
- Provides domestic academic materials via the KERIS Union Catalog.
- May be free or charged, depending on the item and the providing institution.
- KERIS EDDS: Delivers foreign articles, theses, and reports not covered by Rapid ILL via overseas institutions (paid service).
Processing Time
- Domestic (KERIS) : Same day to 2 business days (avg. 1 day)
- International (Rapid ILL) : Within 24 hours (avg. 1–2 days)
- ※ Due to time zone differences, documents are often received the next morning.
Service Fees
- Domestic (KERIS) : 100 KRW per page, [View Detailed KERIS Service Fees], EDDS Service Fee]
International (Rapid ILL) : Free of charge
